Thanks for the detailed performance feedback — we’d like to gather a bit more info so we can investigate the alt-tab FPS drop and overall performance you’re seeing.
Could you please let us know:
- Display mode: Does this happen in Fullscreen, Borderless, and Windowed, or only Borderless?
- Monitor refresh rate / G-Sync / FreeSync: What refresh rate are you using? Is G-Sync/FreeSync enabled?
- V-Sync setting: Is V-Sync on or off in the game settings?
- Resolution & scaling: What resolution (and any Windows display scaling) are you running at?
- Does the FPS recover if you alt-tab back again or only after restarting the game?
- Background apps: Do you use overlays (Steam, Nvidia, Discord, MSI Afterburner, etc.)?
- GPU utilization: When the FPS drops to 1–50, does GPU usage drop as well in Task Manager / MSI?
- Drivers: Are your Nvidia drivers up to date, and does the issue persist after a clean driver reinstall?
This will help us determine whether this is a reproducible bug, a display-mode interaction, or something environmental.Regards,
Team17 Support
