how many cores do you have in your cpu?

This worked for me -----
Verify game files through Steam.
Open game folder and delete the dump files in main folder. I had 5 it think.
Right click game exe/ Properties/ compatibility/ tick box to run as Administrator.
Start task manager.
Run game until you get to the start screen.
Do not continue game.
Use windows key and go to task manager.
Click details tab and look for the game exe.
Right click game exe and select Set affinity.
Untick the top box and only select between 1-4 cores depending on how many your system has.
Click OK.
Right click game exe again and select Set priority and put to above normal.
Do not close task manager.
Click anywhere on screen outside task manager box to return to game screen.
Hopefully this helps.

what he said but in a less complex way first just try verifying files, it it dosent work, run as admin, that dosent work either, then follow his steps

i just use on other pc its ok it works there without problems. bummer i cant use it on my big rig without all the nonsense tho. thanks for replies.

wont work with a CPU that has more then 8 cores tried a 7950x with half disabled down to 8 cores/16 threads and worked fine

doesn't work on win11 23h2 with 18 HW cores. tried as Admin, with only 4 logic cores up to 8. no good. not even splash screen, just shuts itself.

works on Legion GO.... eh
