It would be nice if they could fix it soon.
They deleted close to 9 GB of data from the pack for some reason, but you can download and fix the texture pack without waiting for Capcom to fix it.
PS: I saw 8 monster icons and 20 stickers missing when I went through them. I'm sure there are other textures or content missing, since 9 gb is a really large size in terms of textures.
That said, I just went through your steps and things seem to be back. Thank you.
I'm glad it worked out, by the way. The downside is having to download an extra 40 gb, but it's worth it if you don't want to wait and can afford to download it instead.
They deleted around 9 GB of data from the pack (chunks 1 through 8 are gone), which is now causing missing textures/visuals for people who use the pack. The method in the original post fixes it before Capcom rolls out an actual patch. If you don't or can't use the high-res pack, you don't need to stress about it.
