If someone could please help me. My game Freezes and crashes whenever I try to start it up using steam. I think I've narrowed it down to something being wrong in the steam_workshop folder?

I've tried uninstalling and verifying the game files multiple times. Also, I uninstalled all mods but when I start up the game it automatically downloads and installs Modtools aka core. As soon as it does that, it freezes and refuses to work.

I'm happy to provide more info and I would be very grateful. I really want to play some of those amazing looking mods.
