so to be clear, 'normal onslaught' is an excellent place to start.
it is not too hard, and not unfair.
on normal difficulty, with onslaught enabled, it is also a good place to really learn the game.
but when you do not have onslaught enabled on that difficulty, there will be a lot of fundamentals and things that will simply not happen in the game to learn.
the best things you will ever learn in the game is how to deal with hordes, and normal without onslaught simply does not have that.
i can also play on any high difficulty, so you are free to play that too.
play whatever mode or difficulty that you want, as long as it is not below normal onslaught (which, to be fair, is the introductory difficulty). easy difficulty would not really be worth your time and not many ppl would want to watch a stream of that either.
if you are playing a game with your kids, then yes.
but if you want a good youtube video or stream, easy mode will not do it justice.
oh, and if you play in asia or europe, that is fine too, since i can play on 300 ping servers without much issue.
you play wherever you feel comfortable, and i will join.
the main thing is, you will have a good time, and then you can make some good videos.
for any controlle players, this is a good time to start playing because that steam controller 2 is on the way...
when that thing arrives, you are going to have one of the best experiences possible with a controller for this game.
probably would not be the most fun, but i play asbi rng4 c2, c4 with many ppl on many diff servers, even 300+ ping, and we do fine.
as long as you play the game with teamwork minded ppl, your experience will be good.
did not say that teamwork is a magic pill that makes all difficulties obsolete either, but it sure does make a difference. skill helps also. without that, no one should expect to win anything difficult, in any game, yet alone this one.
but, it has been proven that you will have a lot of success, with good teamwork and skill, in pretty much any game, even if the game is hard. the key is to have the teamwork mindset. if you have that, the skill part will be easier to learn.
you can always increase it as you improve, but if you play on a difficulty that you are more comfortable with, you will perform better.
and when you perform better, you can showcase things about the gameplay better.
