and in my opinion, if you dont like it. Dont play it, simple.
Even though I hated my ending I thought it was good enough that I will go through it again and hopefully get a better ending.
Besides, it's not like you can do whatever you want and the maids will be 100% chill. There are consequences, and depending on what you do- some are more severe than others.

I've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ all the endings and done all the playthoughs and I do not recall Pa Zong dying at all. There's an ending where you do enough to free her, but otherwise all her other endings are "she has to sell herself to the mafia in order to pay back" which is found in 2 other endings, one even expressing you wish you could of done more.
I've come to find a bigger flaw isn't any of the consenting issues, but the mechanics of the choice system itself. But that's a thought for a different thread.
This is a Visual Novel in the most "core" sense. And It is a bad thing. Visual Novels, by tradition, dos not acts as typical gamebooks. You get a much more linear story and less branches and side plots. I personally think the game would bennefit from more choices and allow more the player deciding some attitudes about the character.
I never thought I would say that, but music is too much. There is absolutely no moments of silence. By the way, lots of elements are just "over the top".
The characters are not good. Many people around said they are, but in fact they aren't. There are exceptions, but most of the characters are not constant or solid enough. Even the main character looks like a victim, hten as a nice guy and then ends up taking advantage of the maids and then back to nice guy. They just change and the game have absolutely no effort on displaying it or - even better - allowing the player taking role on the change. This despite the fact dialogs are terrible - as Visual Novels dialogs use to be - and there are tons of pointless scenes. On interactive fiction, because of branching, sometimes designers are forced to tell the audience something they already know. This game, however, do it without reason. And compulsively.
The game would largely bennefit of lesser characters. If the designers were in the mood of having some extra work, even a kind of "harem building", allowing the player to choose what character remains and what drop. Less characters would allow the player to explore each one deeper and create different types of bounds. And, of course, would allow more interesting stories. There are many points where would be interesting choosing on what character invest time and what character explore more.
I'm totally ok with the fact of the main character taking advantage of the maids. I'm also ok the game estabilishing it is a kind of acceptable practice. There is a character who says it is a "long and honorable practice". I'm ok. Setting estabilished. The problem is that the character has personality changes and it bugs me deeply. The other point it that the game seems to use it as an excuse for the sex scenes, as if it were little cookies you reward the player for enduring the boring and pointless dialogs and scenes. I do really really defends two folds about sex scenes: one, it is a scene like any other, so it needs a theme and a purpose. Second, use sex as a weapon. Use it to convince people, find things about the characters or a tool of trade. Think about a sword fight, but in a very peculiar arena. Every sigle character wants something and do things to achieve it. And the most important of all: SHOW THE CONSEQUENCES! Interactive fiction is all about choices and consequences.
Ok. Now the good part. The images are pretty nice, sex scenes have some variety, so they don't all looks the same, what is utterly important for this line of business, the misics are very very good, even if used in excess. I believe one of the main factor people likes this game (ok, there is the porn part too) is that all parts of the game, there is a little thing that bugs you and wants you finding a little more about a certain topic. Always a mystery to uncover. And it is very cool!
