I have 2x 16GB.
Not sure I'm looking right, but I see I still have 10GB available at all time.
I noticed tho, that the FPS keeps dropping, CPU and GPU usage goes down too.
When I tab out the game, FPS returns to normal for some reason, as does CPU and GPU usage...
Check your RAM usage while ingame (over time)
[edit since it might be relevant now, running game at "good" settings
RX9060 XT]
I decided to experiment with this
Main menu
5.1G main, 21.2G virt.
New world (first moon opt.)
7.9G main, 30.2G virt
Rises to and holds steady at 8 and 30.7/30.8(oscilates) after 5 minutes idle
Immediately after starting mining, GPU RAM increased to 7.5 (of 8), and still holds 144FPS
After 4 minutes, I noticed that Memory was being swapped out with 11.3G and 37.1G
(initially 2.5G ZRAM, then 3.2G)(likely because of programs not related to this, and not being used)
At 9 minutes FPS dropped to ~65, 11.8/39.9, GPU usage maxxed out, 7.6G VRAM
funnily enough FPS increased at the base, but that is probably LOD/derendering unused assets/something
shortly after returning to the top, RAM was 7/39.9/same VRAM, ~65FPS
Swap has also increased to 8GB ZRAM (2GB Swap, with 1/4 assumed compression), and is now overflowing into the 4 GB swap (9G/12G swap allocated)
CPU usage is correlated to FPS, (higher FPS=more CPU usage), and is unrestricted (peak usage does not exceed 40%)
around the time of the main swapping (3>9), CPU usage decreases
Interestingly while writing this the game returned to 144FPS/normal CPU/etc, but at 7GB RAM (day 2 ingame)
Maybe shader compilation?
Poor streaming?
