How do you activate the zoom screen? I did it once by mistake and wounder how to get it back

I've read the above, but can't see any comment about the new "handicam" that mysteriously appeared in my "right hand" in the main menu room. It looks cool and I would like to understand it's funcionality better - it disappeared when I entered a map and didn't return when I got back to the main menu room :-(

Another VR game, Vertigo, only makes you fall off of an edge if your head AND your hands are both off of the edge. This lets you look over an edge without falling. It seems to work well.
