I'll have a look at it! I've seen this issue before when I introduced new blocks.
Are you sure this isn't just the breakable block's return time being set too low? Do you see through the block at any point? If so, it's just returning too fast.
Setting any of the timers to any number, big or small, does not seem to have any affect on whether or not they will be duplicated. It almost seems random.
The number of duplications appear to be relatively consisten when close to other similar breakable blocks.
-For example, I tried to make a bridge with these blocks, after playing and going back into the editor, all of the blocks on that bridge had the same number of duplicates within each individual block. Every once in a while there would be a different number, but usually it's the same.
For larger maps (I'm getting heavy reprojection in the editor), I've seen the duplications appear in slightly offset locations from the original placement. This is something I had not encountered on a fresh new level, but some of the bigger maps, this is happening. My last upload to the workshop has this issue within one of the levels :P
- If I place a block down, everything is fine, but when I go to play the map, there is an identical second breakable block to the left or right (I think it was usually on the X axis) of the original.
The duplicated blocks do not seem to retain the timer values, they always revert back to their default 5 timer interval.
I tried grouping and ungrouping multible boxes as well. While grouped, I didn't seem to notice the issue, however, all grouped breakable boxes had their timers are set back to their default value. When ungrouped, It seems that some duplicates appeared. I didn't play with the grouping all that much since it didn't retain the timer values.
The issue for sure seems to be more common with larger maps however. Like I mentioned earlier, one map I was editing had high amounts of reprojection and maybe this has something to do with it?
If you need more clarification on things, let me know!
Hope this helps!
