is your vive mic disabled in settens

if you have a normal headset plugged in to a computer and a vr headset sometimes it uses the headphones microphone instead the VR headset

Check your sound settings in control panel, make sure you're using the correct microphone. Alternatively you can use the SteamVR settings to change the default microphone when you launch it.

yeah i have the same problem, did all this, dissabled everything that wasnt my vives mic and it still dosent work
