Stuck "downloading maps"
Been playing Climbey for over a month, but tonight suddenly I have this problem. Any server I join I'm just floating in space with "downloading maps" floating in front of me. When they finish the level they're on, it finally lets me join in, but the words "downloading maps" still float in front of me as I'm playing, and on one weird occasion it actually put me on a different map than what the other players were on.

I tried reinstalling climbey, but no luck. Any thoughts?

steam/settings/downloads. Check to make sure you don't have downloads limited to certain times.

Ah, thanks for that. This solved it.

(climbey dev: might want to add a timeout or something if downloads aren't happening)

Time out is a hard one, I can't really test a person's internet speed nor know if their steam is first downloading something else so I might prematurely time them out and cause weird ♥♥♥♥ to happen due to uncomplete downloads or something...
I might pop up something after like a minute that allows them to leave the server though
