Surprisingly some players seems to panic for no reason.
So lets make it clear about dupers and exploiters.

1. If you find dupe or any other exploit which affects gameplay for you and/or others and report it developers - you really helped us! You won’t be banned. Feel free to contact developers.
2. If you find dupe or any other exploit which affects gameplay for you and/or others and didn’t report it for some reason - here are two possible ways.
Way number one - you find it but you don’t use it. No problems.
Way number two - you find it and you use it. In this case if you been caught somehow you will have game ban (EAC or manual ban from developers).
You may ask - “why ban for game problems?” While dupes and other similar exploits are indeed game problems, its up to you to use it or no (so as to report it or not). In case if you prefer to use it - you are making negative effect to other players gameplay experience. You know perfectly what you doing. In this scenario its punishable. In this case you are pretty close to cheating.
“I used exploits to fight back with another exploiters/cheaters!” - this is not excuse. You become exploiter/cheater. No matter the reason.
“I was in squad with cheaters! I didn’t know they are cheating!” - this is very personal case. But logs can help to understand if player is innocent or simply lying. But most of the time its ban worthy.

Developers are not interested to ban innocent players or players who reporting game problems. However developers are interested to ban cheaters and players who make negative effect to gameplay of other players (different violations of social rules, dupers and exploiters).
