How to earn money? Played last time 2019.
Got to the trading post... but traders buys almost nothing.
What to sell and where else to get money?

Any tips on what to sells best?
I've run around and saw few things...

Like general store gives nice price for good clothes and cleaver etc.
Armory for weapon-related stuff.
Mechanic gives nice price for parts and kits.

But most of stuff (even rare and valuable) costs nothing...

If you're going to make money by selling things, the only things that will probably fetch a high price are weapons.
Locate the screwdriver and open the military supply cabinet inside the military bunker.
A rifle can usually sell for a thousand dollars.

Some small, miscellaneous items also have good prices, such as EMP grenades ($600+), military compasses ($400+), military goggles ($200+), CD players, and door locks.

I'm not used to new game rules yet, starving with nothing to hunt on horizon...
Grass doesn't give enough.

If you're in row A or B on the map, pay attention to the farms you pass. They have many plantations where you can find cucumbers, potatoes, or other crops.

Especially in areas B1 and C3, there are vast cornfields.

Area A2 has a cheese factory with enough cheese to last you several days.

Area A1 has a sardine canning factory; unless you have a vehicle, you won't be able to carry all the canned goods because there are just too many...

If you unfortunately land in row Z... I don't think I found any food there. I usually have to eat insects to survive.

Yeah, found some farms etc. Got to tradepost at A row.

Looking for goods to sell, 'cause closet military zone I know is railway and airport.
Forgot all the map.

Small addition to those who gonna google this topic later.

There's a lot of things to explore, I won't ruin someone experience.

But one thing to mention - is medical stuff.
Anything heals you except rags - takes small space and costs fine enough.

So see meds - pick 'em.
Crutches cost well too, but takes a lot of space and some weight.
