Look at it, do you really think that its worth 40 quid ?, buy it then :)
...But let's be honest, there's some real entitlement behind the idea any game that's not a full 3-D experience shouldn't be more than 20 dollars. People have some honestly screwed up ideas of value sometimes.
From the looks of it, it does look like the kind of game you'll want to play multiple times if you like to see all possibilities of a branching path though. So, I suspect that'll change drastically based on who you are.
It legitimately always shocks me how there's always this one guy ready to put on his shiny white knight armor and defend something that no one in their right minds should ever defend.
This is not an indie dev, this is NISA. They're AAA. And this game looks like crap. No matter how much content there is (and honesty I doubt it's mind blowing), a game that looks like it's been made by a couple of teenagers on RPG Maker in a week shouldn't get that price tag.
