Can use my music from Spotify in this game?

Nope.
Only local files and radio stations I think.

Beat Hazard 2 (not yet released) will have a workaround called Open Mic that just takes whatever your PC is playing right now (so you can have spotify in the background and play Beat Hazard to that music).

Thanks for the heads up, I ordered my own copy. Been waiting for BH2 for ages, though I know it's still a long way off from full release.

From the future I come to warn you all that even Beat Hazard 3 does not properly support Spotify and only has an open mic workaround that is flacid at best! YOU ARE WARNED! DO NOT LET THE GORILLA GET SHO- Oh oh this was 2018 not 2015, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ then no matter what.
