For those with failed login
Related to the Xbox Live login issue. PC only.

Issue:
The user is prompted to login once they load up the game. Either the credentials are entered wrong, they disconnect whilst logging in, or other factors are at play that causes the login prompt to not be displayed again.

Solution:
1) Press the Start button, type Credential Manager, and press Enter

2) Select Windows Credentials, and navigate to Xbl|DeviceKey

3) Select Remove, and close Credential Manager

This removes the previous login information stored on the users machine and forces the prompt to happen as new.

Windows 7 / 8.1 seem to have the issue, I have someone who updated to Windows 10 and everything worked fine afterwards.

Had the same issue.. here is what i did.. Log into your xbox app account in windows, and got to settings and link your steam account to your xbox app account. After you do that, log out of your xbox app and close it.. Load up the game. When it asks you to log in, put the same email you used for your xbox app account, then when it asks for the password, click 'email me a code" you should get a email with the code right away, put that code in as your password and your in.. You wont have to log in ever again for the game.
