So I've installed Disgaea 2 PC to my Steam Deck, and it runs perfectly well save for one thing: all sprites seem to constantly layer over the rest of the assets, no matter what.

I saw this reported a while back as a Steam Play/Proton issue, but I notice it's also happens without Proton activated, where I believe the native Linux version is running. I'm seriously stumped as to what's causing this to happen. Any ideas on what I could do?
