When I go to the gatekeeper and try to select any maps, the cutscene where Hanako and Taro happens, but after this cutscene the game seems to crash to black, and I can just faintly make out the outlines of where the game would have dropped me after the cutscene ended.

I can still go to the item world, but I can't progress with the story. I"ve tried verifying the games cache already as well. Any help would be appreciated.
