Demo Beta - Can't get past opening video

I can start the game and get past the warnings and bumpers, and the opening song/video comes up, but once that ends the game just freezes. It never goes to the opening menu. Disabling the Steam Overlay and other overlay programs on my system does nothing to help. I also tried the Windows_Release beta channel, same thing.

The opening video is a black screen for me and dialogue (boxes + text) seems to be completely gone, no matter how much I mess around with the options. A tremendous start, NISA.

EDIT: In addition to those, skill names aren't visible either (during their usage). I want to say they just pulled a beta build and used it as a demo, but even if they did, if it's the newest one, day 1 will be a complete disaster.

Im not part of the pc dev team but please send your specs if you have this issue, it helps with trying to fix it. Ill see if I can replecate it but for time being try skipping the opening video for now.

Skipping doesn't help using either a mouse or official Xbox 360 wired Gamepad. Game launches in Window Mode. I have Afterburner/Riva Statistics Server, but I added an exception for the game, and it also didn't help.

i7 920, Nvidia GTX 660, 16 gigs DDR3, 6 TB HDD, Win 7 x64.

Edit: I also have a Creative X-Fi Fatality internal sound card if it matters, I saw the OpenAL redistributable included with the game (I did try installing it as a trouble shooting method, it didn't help, nor did enabling the game in Creative Alchemy).

I have exact same problem as NotSoKaito where the intro is missing aswell as text boxes.

My specs are:

Pentium Dual-Core E5700 @ 3.00GHz
Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT
4gb of ram
Windows 7 32-bit

Make sure your graphics drivers are fully updated. Make sure there are no external codec packs installed, such as CCCP, K-Lite, etc. and test without them if you have any codecs installed.
If you have an NVIDIA or AMD GPU, check the settings in your graphics driver settings.

As for the 2 with the issues of text not showing, the only similarities I can see in your specs is that you have a 32-bit OS. Unless people with a 64-bit OS can confirm to have the same issue, it seems like it might be a 32-bit OS issue that can potentially be patched with some recoding work from NISA.

Running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Game either locks up from execution or will play intro video but lock up before hitting game menu. Using a AMD FX 8350 CPU, 16GB Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 Ram, 4GB Sapphire R9 380X Nitro, SB X-ifi Titanium PCIe soundcard.
