Cannot get past the intro video
Whenever I start the game on my desktop, instead of getting the main menu after the intro video, the game becomes unresponsive instead. I've tried updating to the latest DirectX drivers, and I've tried installing OpenAL and the VC redist in the _CommonRedist folder, and it didn't resolve the problem. The game runs fine on my laptop if this helps any.

Desktop specs:
OS: Windows 7 x64 SP1
CPU: Intel i5 2500K
GPU: Geforce GTX 670
GPU Driver Ver: 361.91

Laptop specs:
OS: Windows 7 x64 SP1
CPU: Intel i5 6600K
GPU: Geforce GTX 980M
GPU Driver Ver: 361.91

Edit: I tried running the game in Windowed and disabled the Steam overlay. Didn't work.

Since they didn't appear to fix the demo, do you have a Creative sound card in your desktop?

I do, actually. A Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty model.

So disable it. reboot your pc. and it s work fine. temporarly solution...

Indeed. The game started working after disabling my Creative sound driver. Thanks for the heads up.
