No mouse click recognition
I'm about to open a can of worms, but I am just surprised that of all technical problems, this is what I'm facing.

I'm trying to play Planet Coaster on windows 10... running as a virtual machine through Parallels, on my iMac 2019. It's a i5 with 40 GB ram. I am able to play Tomb Raider and a bunch of other games from Steam through both macOS natively, and the virtual machine running Windows.

The only problem I have faced so far is Planet Coaster doesn't recognize my mouse. I have a standard USB corded mouse that I plug into my Mac and it functions as expected on macOS and the virtual machine, even on steam. But upon Planet Coaster loading, it only recognizes hovering over buttons but no clicking is recognize.

I am unsure if this is a problem with Planet Coaster, with Steam, with Windows 10, with my virtual machine, or even my iMac. So I figure I start at the bottom and work my way up

Sounds like a issue with the API software. Talk to someone on reddit, as they have a subreddit called r/planetcoaster, or just try to reinstall planco.

I have the same problem with it. I'm running proton on Linux and it worked perfectly before. Mainly happens when building paths. I can click it a random number of times and one will register. Sometimes I have to click 5 times, sometimes 20.

I have already restarted the game and tried a different mouse. No difference. And I tried remapping the function to a key. Same result.
