Is there a guide to play combat mode via local or does it have to be server?

You need to subscribe to Combat mode in a workshop, subscribe to any combat map, make it active in main menu mods tab and create local server with a combat map loaded. You'll also need some bot improve mod probably. Should work.

That's the thing, I cant ever select a combat map in there. Only via dedicated server. Its just the standard NS gametype maps.

Have you set the mod to "acitive" in the mod menu?

Even if you can't select combat maps in the Start server menu you should be able to load them with map change after server being created

Well if I go to changemap it also dont pop up there.
