getting weapons is usually just a matter of time and/or crafting.
you might check the steam market, sometimes you can find the strange variant of a lesser used weapon for literal pennies
youll likely also get several items during your time learning
If you are unaware - you also unlock certain weapons by completing a certain amount of achievements for each specific class.
Outside of trading and/or achievements, most weapons are earned via random drops. I'd STRONGLY advise AGAINST buying most items in the Mann. Co. Store unless you know what you're doing as a lot of the stuff is insanely overpriced.
If you play some community servers (like Skial for example) then they often have simple commands you can enter into the chat to use any weapon for free. I think some servers let you use free cosmetics too.
If you ever get to a point where you are not Free 2 Play (assuming you aren't premium already) you can essentially buy like 1 mann. co. key, then trade it for a ton of metal. Then use that crafting metal as a currency to trade for practically every weapon you need. But you can unlock them over time just fine too if you play casually!
