There is actually an option to put the camera closer. Go to graphics options and change max camera distance to close. Page up/down should let you zoom to your liking.
This is the first report we've gotten regarding dizzying tarmac. We'll discuss what we can do about it. There's probably several causes to this. A more fixed camera with the option above should help though.

The page up/down function is realy handy, I didn't knew that one! It only resets after each race for me, so that's a bit tedious but at least it gives the option to change the camera to your liking so I'm all for that!
Yeah I just noticed we missed showing those keys in options. We'll fix that. Will also look into saving the zoom level between races to save you the hassle!
