Any fix to this?
That second folder contains all of the .pak files for the mods, but not the subfolder structure for each mod found in the workshop content folder. I've copied the subfolder stucture as well, and this appears to have corrected the issue. Thank you!
Thank you very much!! I worked perfectly!!!
-I manually went through my Steam workshop subscriptions and unsubbed from everything that wasn't for the DE. This is probably not strickly necessary, I just wanted to tidy up
-Go into your Steam directory and find the workshop folder for DOS:2. The path should look something like Drive (C:)->Program Files->Steam->steamapps->workshop->content->435150
-Delete the 435150 folder. Make a backup if you're nervous, but it's not necessary
-Go to Documents->Larian Studios->Divinity Original Sin 2 DE->Mods, and delete everything inside
-Now fire up the game. When you first click on the Mods menu option, it will show up as empty, but if you exit out of the mod menu then back in, you should start seeing the list slowly being populated as Steam re-downloads everything.
-Once the mod list is fully populated, see how many mods there are, and compare it to the number of files/folders in your DOS:2 mods folder, and the 435150 folder. For me, I had 45 mods in my in-game list, and the same number of files/folders in the other two locations. This last step isn't strickly necessary, but I like it for peace of mind and knowing that everything is where it should be.
