This is our first blog post and I'm happy to be able to start things off with our...

Open Beta

Featuring plenty of fixes, a modding system with Steam Workshop integration, 4K resolution support, and, of course, Steam achievements!

To take part, simply join our Discord server (https://discord.gg/ZCnxpV7ZaK) and ask for a key! However, do be aware that this is a beta and bugs will be happening a-plenty! But fear not, we have a channel dedicated to reporting bugs and we'll do our best to address them as soon as we can!

Modding System

Mods allow overriding resources like sounds, textures, models and rooms, as well as adding new items, rooms, and even drinks to SCP-294!

The Mods folder can be found in the game's install directory, where an example mod is provided, which should help any aspiring modders get started.

Additionally, each key comes bundled with one for the Containment Breach Room Editor EX (CBRE-EX), which has been updated to support placing items and doors directly in rooms!

The first workshop mods are already available, so have fun exploring & creating!

This version is adding more onto the base game?

leadworks is also adding scp:cb to steam and they're adding workshop support and achievements, but realistically what's going to be the difference between them both? both are the same exact game besides small differences like the achievements and ws support. I guess basically what I'm really asking is what is going to make me want to play this one instead of any of the other scp:cb games that we're/are going to be on steam?...
