They will fire both shots either simultaneously in the case of character shots, or in place of, in the case of organs, it can get quite powerful quickly.

That doesn't really answer my question... well, it does indirectly answer it with regards to character shots, since they apparently fire alongside blade shots instead of combining with them (even though I'm pretty sure that's actually only true for Eye). But my question was, If I have, let's say a Ruby Triblade and an Ice-pierced Heart, do the frost shots benefit from both my fire multiplier and my frost multiplier, only my fire multiplier, or only my frost multiplier? What about if I have the aspect that makes all my shots fire? Would my shots get both multipliers then? And if I have the fire aspect with a ruby blade, would my shots get doubled benefit from fire multipliers? I'm pretty sure having the same element from multiple sources grants some kind of bonus, but, I'm not sure what it is.

Elements don't overwrite each other, it's an additive system.

So if you have the Ice Staff that fires icicles and then you get "all of your attacks deal fire damage" then your icicles are now dealing BOTH and you will get your Ice Boost and Fire Boost at the same time!

However, you can never get a double benefit from the same Boost. An attack is Fire, or it isn't. If it's Fire then Fire Boost is applied, but it can't be "Double-Fire."
