Script-Patch is a non-invasive attempt at improving the game without touching quests, balance, and only very minor visual changes.
Best one imo.
I mean improvements to the overall game, but not outright changing the feel of gothic 2. A long time ago I played this game, but never finished it because I was a kid and didn't have the patience for it. I just want to play it without being frustrated by archaic things that don't affect the experience of playing it.
I don't really remember anything aside from the fact that I used the console to play in first person lol.
Edit: I don't know the difference of what you're saying btw. I don't really mod my games. I play vanilla skyrim and oblivion lol.
idk I was expecting someone to just have a modlist that makes the base game better without ruining the vibe.
Er... no you didn't

pressing f turns on firstperson
if u enable marvin mode, pull out a weapon and enter firstperson into the console itll persist through combat
Copied that from a reddit thread because it was like a decade ago I did this. I can't remember how I did it, but I know I was running away from and fighting orcs in first person. You just don't forget experiences like that.

So, seeing as I'm in chapter 2 right now I figure I'd comment on this. Great list, very helpful. I abstained from itemmap because it seemed like a cheat, but I think I'll go with that next time I play this game.
I just can't really be ass'd looking for every dragon root and kings sorrel through all the foliage. Does the itemmap thing mark tablets too? I think next playthrough (whenever I decide to do that) I'd level my stats better. Because I was at 108 str, and then found out I couldn't level my strength past 90 with teachers, so that was a hard blow considering I was aiming to use my dragon slicer.
I did end up just spawning strength potions after I figured out that I was kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this regard. I think 2nd run I'd definitely put more emphasis on leveling two handed rather than pumping strength for the next big weapon.
