are save game files stored in a cloud?
so im playing gothic on my pc and i just intaalled it on my laptop. i thought that my save game files from the pc would carry over to my laptop via cloud but suprisingly i did not find them O.O do i need to manually move them each time???

Gothic doesn't have steam cloud.

Yes, unfortunately Gothic 1-2 don't have Cloud Saves on Steam yet.

Nothing in particular. It is just possible theoretically.

The game is over 20 years old - I think it will not get Cloud Saves. Just go to your install folder and copy the saves on a stick and move them to the laptop.

I really wish this game had cloud saves. My drive died and I lost my ~25 hour save file. Unfortunately I don't really want to spend another 25 hours getting back to the same point in the game and so probably will never finish this wonderful game.
