Any form of sexual abuse is one of these worst things someone can do and just "giving them a second chance" is basically encouraging them to do it more, as the consequences will not be severe. These people have to be properly punished and persecuted so that they actually learn their lesson and aren't just given a slap on the wrist. It has to be severe.
I don't think a sexual predator should be so easily forgiven for such a horrible thing, how do you think the victims feel? Should we just forgive all sexual predators and not care for the wellbeing of their victims?
Yakuza 0's storyline as I mentioned before had Makoto Makimura, who was a victim of sexual abuse and went blind from it, this was tackled pretty seriously and now they are actively casting sexual predators?
