Right now he's camping or something and he's making other promises for the game on his discord. Like some sort of non story mode or something and a multiplayer mode and maybe a Unicorn that Makes creamy butter.
That's not how I operate, I only hunt terrorists and that's mostly on CS:S... Mostly.
I don’t want to approach him in a discord conversation out of basic human respect, giving him the space to gather his thoughts and respond in writing with a thoughtful answer that shows respect in return.
That was hardly my claim.
I've said that you were not responsive there and effectively blocked communications through there - Which I've found out the hard way trying to contact you through there for an appeal in regard to the game.
Your main updates were on -
AUGUST 2022
OCTOBER 2022
DECEMBER 2022
Then silence until AUGUST 2023
Then even more silence until AUGUST 2024
Later on - You've posted that sorry remark:
"get the damn thing finished so I can move on with my life. - George"
So frankly, the issue with you having a linkdin or not is far from the issue.
The main issue is that this is a deplorable thing to say to someone who'd backed you.
I didn't join in the pay so you'd "get the damn thing finished" so you can move on with your life - I've trusted your vision and what you're basically saying sounds like: You know what folks? I'm going to do the bear minimum and F if I care if this horse lives or die.
This "get the damn thing finished so I can move on with my life. - George" remark is pissing me off since there were conversations about what might WTF 2 look like, people who would probably insta-buy it.
You've got so much going for you in here and you don't even recognize it.
On a personal level - You've made me look like a stooge for recommending you and your game and your comment exude the moral capacity of a rather unsavory character.
is that what you're saying and what you've meant?
Is that who you are?
I assume that the humor in WTFZF is yours, which implies a higher than average intelligence - Is it wrong to expect better from you?
But we have upadtes in July and August 2025 and also testing for new mechanics started with players from the Discord... what is your point ? than single dev game takes long to develop ? no ♥♥♥♥ sherlock
Hey ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, he literally just said he never made an account there.
He also said that he will make a game and finish it... Your point?
Please have something to calm your nerves before answering, you come through as unstable and I don't think you mean to.
No need to get triggered by every smoothbrain on the www.
Never go full allcaps, keep some for your pension plan.
Is it frustrating when you find a gem of a game that has a lot of potential but seems to be falling short for "insert reason here"? Sure.
There's always those out there that will demand the game be whole when it may very well not be. I get it, the passion they have for the game and it's natural to want to see it come to fruition. But there's also the next level which goes beyond the red line thinking they have all the rights to stalk and continue bothering the dev(s) and attempt to shame them and smear them without knowing the full story.
We're in 2025 and there have been countless games that have never come to full fruition for the past couple decades by now. I dare say most if not all of game players today have experienced this more than once. This will not be the last short of just stopping playing games ever.
Angry? Say your peace and move on. Hope for the best and invest that energy into other games or adventures. As some folks now say, "go outside and touch some grass" even.
Wishing the dev(s) the best. If they have fallen out of love with their own development and working on it when they feel like it then so be it. But buying their game in advance knowing that it may never get finished is our own accountability and the blame is on us. It does not give us the right to feel like we are "owed" anything.
Not everything is measured in money and I beg to differ - We do not deserve a miserable attitude of "get the damn thing finished so I can move on with my life. - George".
I've been telling people about this game, recommended it and giving it good publicity because I trusted the dev, I now see that this trust was misplaced.
When he wanted money than it was all nice and flashy - Now he considers it and us as a damn thing to be finished so can move on with his life.
We're like a cyst that he can't wait to get rid of and you think that's just fine after all the sales posts he'd made.
That's not even adhering to basic curtsy, let alone any sort of a professional backbone, that comment and his general treatment of people is just insulting.
Based on this discussion, it doesn't seem likely anytime within a reasonable timeframe.
Current gamestate is reported as buggy and generally unplayable. For someone new, such as myself, I'm not going to trudge through bugs the developer couldn't take even one month to resolve since they updated in 8/24 (over a year ago).
Shameful behavior and they should be ashamed of even listing themselves as developers publicly.
To the dev: You are bad at your job. You stole money from those that trusted you. I'm wise enough to this nonsense to not fund your lifestyle while you ignore the work you should be doing. That's on you for having poor work ethics and no dedication to a project you decided to make earnings from. I hope this doesn't move a single unit when published out of EA (which will probably be sometime in 2036 at this rate), and your money scamming plan goes boom and no other publishers will touch/hire you. Maybe if you go without food and shelter you'll understand the importance of obligations.
Signed: A man who has to talk to another grown man like a toddler who doesn't understand responsibility and respect. (Who is tired of these EA scams that are a dime-a-dozen these days, lazy people make me sick)
