I would like to know more about the problem of non-functioning physical midi drumkits, in particular I would like to know to begin with what name is marked when assigning it to a part slot. A screen of inputs screen it would be very useful.

heres a screenshot of my pc. see how it recognizes my kit, but when i click to assign a specific pad to a certain drumpart in the game, it doesn't recognizes me hitting it. nothing happens. it just recognizes keys from the keyboard but not from the pads of actual drumkit:

by the way i've been waiting like 4 years for this to be fixed. I would really like to play the game how it's meant to be played and not just with my fingertips

This is very strange. Your drumkit have other MIDI modes? It doesn't seem to send the numeric notes needed to read the pads hit. Can you check if there is a other send information modes?

I am also facing this issue, probably going to have to return the game since my only purpose is play with a midi device. The device itself is a Korg Nanopad but that doesn't matter cause on the Demo/free version (both the Standalone and the steam versions) were working fine with the midi controller (except for a weird behavior were if the midi key wasn't mapped in the first "square" then it would have no dynamics/velocity). But the full version doesn't work, despite the mapping window working perfectly and recognizing each key of the midi device.

Can I ask you guys a screenshot of mapped Midi keys in input Maps settings and another with show keys enabled on drumkit?

Same issue with a Donner 200 kit . It sees the kit, assigns bindings ( m46, m48 and so on), but when played it does not not register the hit 99% of the time. Occasionally if you lay down a fast string of hits. Say you lay down a quick hard roll on the snare you will get one delayed audio hit of the snare.
