The infos included here are not a garanty you will absolutly catch one , but surely will help. All depends on how you fish , the exact times, the exact location etc. You are the one holding your gear , not me .

Double PS : As of now ( 11-17-2017 ) This thread as been left without new post from me , for a long time now . I have no more time to put on finding the uni / trophies and even play this game as i was before . The people that helped me either it seems .Some don't even play the game no more . So don't be mad if some species are missing and / or infos are not accurate no more. The game changed since and uni / Ts can be found pretty much all over the place now. No need to post that its : useless , wrong , not accurate and so on . Last time i tried , it was still pretty good . Like said above , back then , you are free to try these spots / techniques or not . tyvm

There are many players like myself, that enjoy finding out things for themselves, just like in real life. For some it is the fun of the hunt that makes the game more enthralling and interesting. If you seek it however their is a ton of info on youtube with locations and setup advice for easier cast and catching. Help is also easily available on ingame chat. I think the guides could do with a good old update though, even though the game is nowhere near complete, the guides are very outdated.

I generally do what you're suggesting anyhow DY mate. Then again, I'm partial to a five minute break after catching a uni' as it's probably near killed me getting it in! So I don't mind answering questions for the next 5 minutes lol.

Thx Felipe joe. Like it is described, it would be in chat room as it happens. After you get the unique, you give the infos right there and now. So that the people in your chat room , will know right away.

The only time this is even necessary is when they release a patch and we're all fumbling around looking for spots.

It can be frustrating but within not even a week everything will be known already and info given freely and easily.

I saw you in chat when this came up yesterday and i agree the guy who pushed you was kinda douchy, but some people like to find things on their own and force others to be like them as well.

LEad by example Dyeuz. Do it every time you find a unique and id bet you a steam game it will catch on.

I've generally always did this, The problem is turnover. People are in and out of chats alot. So some miss it and the questions are asked anyway. just keep sharing and people will pick up on it and do the same, well some of them anyway.

In theory, it's a great idea. It just doesn't work like you want in practice. Don't get discouraged by this.


As for it bothering people, don't worry about that. People that want to figure something out without help should be smart enough to turn chat off when doing so anyway...

Just keep sharing, that encourages others to share.
