Game doesn't start "Out of Memory"
The game doesn't start. I get the error "Out of memory or address space. Texture quality setting may be too high." No mods installed and I tried the Beta branch too.
I use openSUSE slowroll. Intel Core Ultra 7 265, 64GiB Ram.

On Linux systems, Steam typically offers two ways to launch games:
  • Steam Runtime – runs the game in a container with Valve’s bundled libraries, which can improve compatibility.
  • Steam Native – uses your system's libraries instead, which may cause issues if any dependencies are missing or mismatched.
On openSUSE, Native mode may sometimes expose version differences in system packages. If you're seeing crashes or odd behavior, try switching to Steam Runtime mode to see if it helps.

There is no option like "Steam Runtime" or "Steam Native". If I press start game, there is only a window with "Out Of Memory".

I was referring to Steam launch options, not the ones specific to the game. Typically, there are two different Steam shortcuts on the system. Before Steam launches in a different mode, the current instance of Steam must be closed entirely. I will look into the exact steps for manually launching the game from the terminal, as that may be helpful to ensure it runs through Steam Runtime.

I remember now. This was in the past on my old computer. There were two shortcuts. But I have a new computer and the new installation of steam didn't add them. I think it only runs on Steam Runtime, because the 32bit libraries are no longer available in most linux distros.

I have now switched to PROTON 9. The windows version is running in SLOWROLL. The native linux version is broken with newer systems.
