I bought this game 5 years ago, but never got far in it because the latest edition works only with a joystick, and the DOS versions were too low-res even for my taste. I've tried to find out if anything's been done with that by fans in those 5 years, but I can't find anything new on that topic. I see there are more fan-made wrappers available now, though. Should I try to play through the DOS version with a custom wrapper instead? Because before anyone suggests it, I am not buying a joystick for the sake of one ancient game.
