Steam Link
Eyetracking issue on SteamLink with Pico 4 Pro
hello! so im not entirely sure what's happening here, and my friends are just as baffled as i am. my eyetracking is basically controlling the sizing of my window and causing stretching and warping -- as seen here . i have gone through numerous settings in both steamvr and pico itself, checking eyetracking, turning it off/on, changing steamvr to beta, ect. i know this is a very niche headset and it was not directly stated to have support for it with steamlink, but i assumed it would and am just crossing my fingers that it is just a bug. if anyone has any ideas, feel free to throw em at me

Hi. This is likely due to an old version of the Pico runtime, which was incompatible with the method Steam Link uses for foveation. Please update your Pico OS to the latest version and try again.
i have tried to look into updating, but my headset is reading as "up to date" with seemingly no way to force update. currently on 5.11.2s
You will need to update to at least v5.13 to have a compatible OS version - perhaps Pico support can help?
Hi, I also use a Pico 4 Pro! There's a good chance you'll need to update your headset manually like I did, which I can confirm fixes the problem.

To download the update your headset, you can get the lastest version of Pico OS for Pico 4 from their website. owomushi has a good tutorial for how to manually install Pico updates if you don't know how.

Extra note, if the officially provided Pico OS version doesn't work, you might need to get the non OEM version of the update. I found a link for it on owomushi's website and it works for me!
