Game doesnt support simultaneous mouse and gamepad. Change all your bindings to gamepad, or use the Gamepad template.

Take this up with TOW2 forum if you need more help.

i already posted on TOW2 but no one respond. SC is die slowly. not much ppl use it but i tried so many other controllers and i just can't use right stick. Gamepad template you mean the right stick must be regular joystick?

i would differ:
more people are beginning to use it, because the steam deck is a steam controller. sure, not the original version, but still has the same basic features and possibilities.

imo, the original form of the classic steam controller is superior and more ergonomic to what the steam deck offers, but makes sense, since the steam deck would be bigger if it tried to have a similar profile.

many people never gave the original steam controller a chance, because they were console players, rather than pc players adopting new hardware and experimenting with it.

once you take your time to play with settings, you will begin to appreciate how flexible and useful it is.

i think what DaMu commented is about this:

if a game controller doesnt work properly when mixing input types, is usually better to make the controller simulate keyboard and mouse, rather than controller (ie left trackpad as "directional cross" or "left joystick") + mouse (right trackpad as mouse), or something similar (ie ABXY buttons as controller, and trackpad as mouse); that can work sometimes, but usually creates lag if it works. often, using the right trackpad as mouse has more precise control, and better results, so you may need to change your other buttons to simulate keyboard (ABXY, triggers, etc = keyboard mapping).

I think you misunderstand me. I think SC is superior to any other controllers as it has this touchpad. I know i can go with as a mouse etc. But i like to use it with aim assist. I was hope that maybe i there is something else to do and use as joystick but have the aim assist. Anyway thx :)

FWIW, I almost always have to turn aim assist off with the Steam Controller. With right trackpad as mouse, gyro as mouse, and tweaked sensitivities, I can quickly aim at or near a critical hitbox. Then if I zoom in to be sure, aim assist drags my aim to center of mass, and I have to line up the shot all over again (while still zoomed in). No, thank you.

i'm not so good in fps and i get old (45y), i just like the story play. I never use gyro thought... I will try to play with sensitivities.

Give gyro mouse a chance first. Trackpad mouse for fast turning and gyro mouse for lining up shots is amazing.

Gyro drifts sometimes, especially as the hardware gets older, or batteries run low. Pause the game and set the controller down (or just hold it still) for 5sec to reset it.

You should pay closer attention to your capitalization and punctuation if you're going to necropost stupid complaints about someone else's writing. Stones and glass houses.
