Immersion wise think it as your people's willingness to fight. Imagine (if you are an American) your president got embarrassed in some social event and just decides to attack the EU next day, you will not be very willing to sacrifice your life just for that.
Also the angle of "justified war" isn't about justifiyng yourself to your citizen, but making yourself hated enough by the faction you want to engage war in.
I find this system pretty strange and i prefered the more fluid/narrative focus mechanics of legends and space 2.
Also i didn't knew this mechanic was ported from Humankind, idk how to feel about that.
Also i think bring up real life comparasion is out of place.
I know the team is working on diplomacy and ways to improve it.
Is there any other aspect of the diplomacy you do not like or it is more the war topic?
If it is by design and there is a desire to push player in a more slow diplomatic game style (and less war reactionary focus), i think it is necessary to give option, like sending praise/threat, being able to send/ask for ressources, etc etc
On a positive note, i like being able to share a victory through diplomacy, its a bit far on the research tree imo, but its great to be able to officialy win with a friend.
Im whinning on the topic of war, but i understand that it could make more sens later on once more content is added and the vision of the game is clearer
Constantly trespassing, yet only provides 1 stack of -10 opinion for justification? All following Trespassing only refresh the timer?
I've fought and killed 3 of his 5 stack army and still not enough grievances?
And the final straw for me to quit is AI attacked and sacked my camp, and with all above I'm still sitting at -45 opinions???????
And you tell me only -60 count as justified War? What kind of sick joke is this?
This feels like an insult, it's like a slap in the face when you get bullied and everyone tells you don't fight back.
