every single game I have played so far, an AI got eliminated while still owning a city
the previous game the tahuk were eliminated while still owning 2 cities, one with 3 one with 2 territories
Edit: here is the city and territory graph (i surrounded them at the start so they were never able to settle more then 1 city with 4 territories)

at the 2nd to last turn I just got the message that the Kin have fallen and their city with all 3 territories just vanished (i did not raze them, they just poofed out of existance)
the game I mentioned before where Tahuks lost 2 cities, I was actively trying to seige the cities as the coral nation because I wanted to own those cities (wanted to capture not raze them) but before I was done with the seige the Tahuks just stopped existing, all their territories, all their cities just vanished
I also felt like the game kinda stole those cities from me there (i had 3 AIs that game so I could have used those science cities from the tahuk if only they did not just vanish)
I dont think AI will ever engage in sorties either, so I've been able to wipe them out by sending a single dude out.
