[Suggestion] Change the base code to include base glassteel and titanium for each "area" of the map
As the title suggests, it's a terrible game Run if your whole map does not have glassteel (or whatever base strategic resource your race needs). I know you can build a Trading Post, but that shouldn't act as a handicap. It should support only, in my opinion.

So, just make sure that the base 2 resources are guaranteed spawns after the first monsoon, and can never spawn o the map edges. Sounds fair?

It should always spawn on the new areas revealed after the monsoon. As it not spawn on the immediate adjacent territories it might cause a bit of frustration (totally understandable).
We need to keep the work on the generation, but we do want to have this moment of tension and scarcity so you need to being active into secure the resource or just buying them.

I appreciate the response and good to know the team is working on refining world generation. It's all I can ask for right now in EA.

On a tiny map, there was only a single node of glassteel. And later in the game, when the third tier resources are supposed to appear, there was only a node with a green ore (no red economic one). I suppose it's better to put resource density to increased for smaller maps
