The first one I killed was already damaged from... another army I assume.
It had one of those fat, ranged guys in it, but given the whole army was already damaged, I thought I was fine. But if that fat thing kills something, it'll spawn a whole new unit, which caused me to lose all but 2 units.
Second fight had an kinda agile, dog looking thing as it's leader and this army wasn't damaged pre-fight. However the terrain worked massively in my favour so I could bottleneck them and just fight them one at a time. I almost lost one unit because the leader could go berserk and increase it's damage, but that was easy compared to the last fight.
So in the end I guess maybe it's a learning thing?
1st? lol i'm pretty sure i'm on easy if not normal and got like 7+ of these things running around, gladly take 1 has they are true to their name lol
Sounds good in theory but between ridges and fortress it makes it challenging as there are a lot of choke points, if not outright death valleys and outright areas cant reach the main battlefield. Also the wraiths for me once get on a ridge/higher ground 1 shots my troops.
You def need a balanced army , at least in my case (army with archer support) but sometimes if I have gaps in my line they'll just walk through my troops and go to the rear without much of a fuss.
not sure if this is intended or bug.
IIRC, this tech appears in era 3.
