I'm using Proton 9.0(4) on Linux/ Steam. Earlier, the game worked just fine.

Firstly, I tried starting this offline game on a weak internet connection, but electricity went out mid game due to low battery. Then I had some misconfigurations in BIOS due to low battery.
But laptop was perfectly ok otherwise, after I set it to correct date time and settings.

After this it wouldn't connect to its server giving an error and requesting me to copy paste a code. So, I do exactly that.
(During this time, my date was set incorrectly due to MMDDYY vs DDMMYY format)

After this, Game is not starting. The play button reappears 5 seconds after I click it.

I've already validated files and tried all that I could. I restarted, I did all that I could.
I even tried changing Proton to version 8, didn't help.
I think its something related to Denuvo. Can anyone help?
