Eisenbahn im Mittelalter? Railway in the Middle Ages?
Hallo,
Habe heute wieder einmal Medieval Engineers gestartet. Zu meinem Erstaunen gibt es jetzt, ohne entsprechende MODs Eisenbahnschinen zum verlegen? Eisenbahn im Mittelalter? Frage mich nur, wann kommt der erste Mittelalterliche Flugplatz?? Eisenbahn und Flugzeuge kommen vor den Pferden.. Kann mir jemand sagen, ob diese Eisenbahnschinen tatsächlich schon im Grundspiel enthalten sind?

I started Medieval Engineers again today. To my amazement, there are now, without appropriate MODs railways to relocate? Railway in the Middle Ages? Just ask me, when is the first Medieval Airfield coming? Railway and planes come before the horses. Can anyone tell me if these railway schins are actually already included in the base game?

No there not in the base game only mods.

All of our industrial stuff has been modded in, none of it's in the vanilla game.

You should give that mod a try, it's amazing.

By the way there have been experiments with rails of some sort already in Antiquity...

Das Spiel würde ich auch nicht im Mittelalter einordnen, eher Renaissance. Und in der Renaissance wurden auch schon hölzerne Gleise genutzt, die ersten aus Eisen im 18. Jahrhundert. "Mittelalterfans" haben für gewöhnlich keine Ahnung von Geschichte. Daher die Benennung. Davon muss man sich aber nicht den Spaß verderben lassen. Da hat das Spiel Schlimmeres parat.
I wouldn't classify the game as medieval, more Renaissance. And even in the Renaissance, wooden tracks were already in use, with the first iron ones appearing in the 18th century. "Medieval fans" usually have no idea about history. Hence the name. But you shouldn't let that spoil the fun. The game has worse things in store.
