Game hangs on launch or file load
As the title says, either hangs up on launch or loading a saved. Sounds, video, it all goes black. Been having this problem for a couple weeks now. Searched the forums and was told to simply delete all my saves (which is not a viable solution, everytime this happens to start over again). Uninstalled, reinstalled and verified all file contents didn't work.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4gig
GPU: Radeon R9 290
RAM: 16 gig
OS: Win 7 pro x64

hi, did you found a way to fix it, i can't open my game for some reason, it just crashes after 3 second or so

Sadly no, next time we went to play it defaulted to a new save file, almost like it reverted the save file to a new game with zero discoveries, my son lost all of his progress (understandably quite upset about it).
