complains about a third-party launcher/account, plays Total War, which requires a third-party launcher, plays GTAV, which requires a third-party launcher, plays Civilization, which utilizes a third-party launcher. Try again, buddy, and tell us the real reason ya don't want it. cuz clearly you have no issues with a second launcher launching for you to play the game or making an account (ubi launcher does not even open)

Typical Ubisoft haters, programmed what to think by Asmongold or some YouTuber.

or he is just fed up that every game company started to force a 3rd party launcher/account on steam and the ubisoft one is especially bad (causing problems).

OP just leave a negative review on the demo version and on the actual game release, you are not alone. we got rid of the PSN requirement for helldivers 2.
now it’s everyone else’s turn. 2k, blizzard, even EA stopped asking for the launcher for some of their games recently. let’s get rid of this anti-consumer stuff once and for all. ignore these guys and keep being vocal about it. and make sure you change it to a postive review, if they listen.

if you leave a negative review because of a launcher than you are not being very honest in your reviews, and it is basically just review bombing.

reviews should be about how the game itself, how it runs, gameplay, etc.

for example if the extra launcher makes the game run less smooth than it is a valid point, but complaining just because you just dont like the launcher is just review bombing, in which case i think steam has every right to delete your review.

the sole presence/annoyance of the 3rd party launcher/account requirement is already enough and justifies a negative review. it's anti-consumer and serves no benefit to the player. just think about the steamdeck or linux support. the game could be 10/10 but that doesn't matter if you can not launch the game because you have to install windows. it's ridiculous that we need two accounts/launchers to play one game.

and to all of you guys aswell, you don't loose anything if we get rid of mandatory 3rd party launchers/accounts soooo psssssssssst.

i want to get rid of any 3rd party launcher/account on steam, not just from ubisoft. we got rid of the PSN requirement for playstation games on pc. 2k stopped forcing their launcher for their games. EA/Hazelight removed launcher/account requirements for "it takes two" and "split ficition" and i think you don't need the EA launcher for battlefield 6. and for overwatch we don't need the blizzard launcher. just to name a few. i did not buy any rockstar games, because of their 3rd party stuff even tho i would like to play those games. i hope by the time GTA 6 arrives, all major publishers stopped asking for 3rd party stuff and rockstar will hopefully stop too. and if you look at my community history you will see, that i was also asking other publishers to drop the 3rd party stuff in the past.
