Same here. I tried updating my driver's with no results. The game runs fine without lag, but the hall of mirrors effect of all the long-distance backgrounds is driving me insane. I've been searching hard for a workaround online, but there doesn't seem to be an answer out there. The backgrounds are so disconcerting that it makes the game totally unenjoyable.

That's not specificly true as I have a pretty high end PC and im getting this background blur, my game itself runs perfectly on high detail and the highest resolution but i still get the annoying mirror effect in the background. Im thinking it might be a bug that someone needs to look into.

I'm having this problem too and I have the radeon HD 7670M and Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 but i have windows 8 -_- is that why?

i fixed mine by swapping my graphics card over, i swear i had already done this but i guess not but it is now it is fixed i hope this helps :)

No, it's MASSIVE motion blur, I can't see the top of my screen at all, and it lags me out. I tried what you said, and it didn't work.

I have my graphics on normal, and the motion blur isn't as bad as u guys, but it makes the game practically INTOLORABLE.

Has anyone ever tried using an NVIDIA graphics card with this game? I think that should fix the problem.

i swapped my graphics card by right clicking the desktop and it comes up with configure switchable graphics card and then i change it to high performance for the game
