Keep moving, don't get boxed in, use initial stealth to find a good starting point, prioritise certain enemies. Don't just go in shooting.
I can't praise the armour perk enough on nightmare levels because without it you will get 1 shot. On the Harbringer level you want the shield perk.
And check out the guides or YouTube videos to give you some ideas.
I def don't have a skill issue lmfao. Have you seen my game list? Implementing 1 hit mechanics for every mob is just lazy game design.
So far we are fine just annoying having 1 hit mechanics in any game. Its the lazy way to balance a game. Whats your strat for Uniform nightmare in Zone 3? Just noting we aren't beginner players of this genre and cleared dozens of these type of games on the hardest difficulties.
I dont mind the rooms but I can imagine the open boss fights or the end of zone 3 is ridiculous.
Looking forward to this discussion and hope that they do make it a little easier in the future.
We need long term things like this and reasons to grind.
Oh man just know its extremely hard. Nearly every enemy 1 hits you regardless of your hp or shield. Maybe slightly easier with 3 but with 2 its not even fun. We had a blast on the previous difficulty and playing nightmare in zone 1-2 zone 3 is just terrible.
Hmm, thats unfortunate to hear. Is it like bang your head against the wall undoable or just keep pushing?
Also looks like you ain't the smartest person as you use achievements %. Almost noone cleared the game on adventure. This must mean asventure is too hard.
Just ran UC 3 on Nightmare which took about 30mins, my build was hipfire elemental, void, armour and lead head. I was lucky with 50% vs elites and no ammo consumption for 3 seconds items early on.
I had 1 semi-close call where I got frozen in the prison room but other than that it was all about managing distance, using corners and AOE down the enemies for the most part.
You want a high capacity heavy hitting weapon.
Rooms 1 - 19 were really straight forward.
20, stick to the side without the teleporters (also try to stay out of LOS from the teleporters because of the flys) and kill what you can from range then use the balconies to your advantage as the spiders come after you by going round or jumping down then back up.
In my entire run a pair of boots never dropped either :/
here is a screenshot of the end: https://images.steamusercontent.com/ugc/13983688938001551989/63CD9DDB05F3917DADE2D0CC5D3766F742149D1A/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false
I assume the 100% accuracy is void tendrils?
Nightmare difficulty is largely about being able to kill everything before it can kill you, or even shoot back. Offense is the preferred method of dealing with enemies as defense mechanics are massively under-tuned in the game. You can not get enough shield or HP to prevent rapid deaths and armor requires significant investment before it pays off, such heavy investment that if you are unlucky with items offer you might not get enough armor to matter at later stages.
PS. I would love to see a video of Get out of my head or Killing time missions on Nightmare. When I looked few weeks back there were none uploaded on Youtube.
