Save system
Hi to all!
I am having problems with saved games. After checking files, game behaviour and the mess it'is creating to my walkthrough, i reached these facts. If i am wrong, please, correct me:

slot 0: ---> Used when/for loading between level changes. It's automatic.
slot 1-5: ---> Used when saving from altars or sleeping.

The game uses one or the others (selected initially from the player) in function of the situation.

Having two saves, one for sleeping/altars and another one for crossing levels have the
risk of corrupting/altering the savegames in the game implementation:
You could start a new game, cross to the first cave, have female voices, then load another
savegame in crossroads, comeback to the first cave and you will found all reset, and
having still female voices instead of the male that was selected in the current game.

That was my case, and i was aware later. Coming back to previous level results in all things reseted, like doors closed, and items in the initial places. When taking a look into the savefiles, the game now deletes all previous levels each time i save in altars, so don't "remember" the previous levels, because slot-0 get deleted.

I had some backups to start, but that behaviour is still present, so i guess the savecore.Sol file is somewhat messed. I am still playing, a little angry, as i can, copying/restoring levels from backups when they get deleted; leaving placeholder items before changing levels to check if all is good when coming back...

The solution? deleting all the slots, starting a new game, and not creating any other playthrough.

But i insist playing with my current messed savegame, so
My procedure? saving the savegame folder (mainly the slot-0) each time i change between levels, to have a copy of the previous level::: a start point in the new one, or a restore point of a previous accessed level.

The black void, or the objetive marker getting far and far could comes from this problem, when loading a game and mixing different save slots or states, or messing restoring the game without restarting the game app. I had a lot of them.

Another strange thing is the time attribute that sometimes the game app gives to the savegame files, sometimes two or three hours forward from the system time, when it updates the save files, making harder to decide when to make the backups.

Well, it's enough. After fighting to continue my save, i had to write this long post.
Have fun with the game!
Regards.
