I've played through the entire game now, and there were two particular instances when the game freezes for me that were annoying/problematic.

The first occurs whenever I tab out during any loading. It's more a force of habit than anything, but I did it a few times and lost some progress in the game due to it. I'm in full screen if that makes a difference.

The second freeze, and the one that I've found much more annoying, is the freeze during the credits, right at the "Special Thanks" section. This has been reported in the past, and those threads say that there is nothing after the credits that I'm missing. My larger issue is, every time I exit to main menu and then reload my last save (which is the only thing I can do), it takes me back to before I finished the final objective. Is there any available solution to this problem yet? Verifying my game cache did not help, and I've tried 5 times so far, with the freeze occurring in the exact same spot every time.
