Strafing stopped working, and wont bind (non VR)
I suddenly lost the ability to strafe after having saved, closed the game and chosen continue next time I started it up. Now I can't get strafe to work at all... I tried to rebind strafing to other keys (like "e" and "q"), but it doesn't work, and it seems to revert to "A" and "D" without me doing anything.

I was wondering how to report this, and chose to start here to see if anyone else have experienced this problem. So, any suggestions?

I thought I would check the game.ini file(s), and manually rebind it in the config files, but I'm not sure how to do this...

I found this in "default input":

From what I can see everything seems in order, but still doesn't work...

A patch went live a bit too early, so while fixing VR strafe it broke regular strafe. A fix is coming within the day, if not within the hour.

Thank you for the quick replay!

I've been searching for a bug in the config files and game data for hours... :)

After having started a new game, and finding the problem to be the same I concluded it was something wrong in the game files. I was about to uninstall and reinstall the game when I saw your post. Thanks for saving me from having to do that... Takes quite some time to download this.

By the way; Thank you for a very nice game. I love the way you guys handled the survival element to not make it such a grind. The first hour was real tense, having to search for food, but after that the story takes over and the survival element becomes a small part of the tension, but never forces you to grind. That is a hard balance to hit, and I find it very nice. I also really love the story thus far.
