I've been searching for a bug in the config files and game data for hours... :)
After having started a new game, and finding the problem to be the same I concluded it was something wrong in the game files. I was about to uninstall and reinstall the game when I saw your post. Thanks for saving me from having to do that... Takes quite some time to download this.

By the way; Thank you for a very nice game. I love the way you guys handled the survival element to not make it such a grind. The first hour was real tense, having to search for food, but after that the story takes over and the survival element becomes a small part of the tension, but never forces you to grind. That is a hard balance to hit, and I find it very nice. I also really love the story thus far.
